The Support Worker / Care Worker is responsible for enhancing service users’ well-being by prioritising their preferences and wishes in care delivery. They provide day-to-day support to improve service users’ quality of life requiring compassion, good communication skills, and a caring demeanour. The Support Worker / Care worker must follow care plans and guidelines for supporting service users and report changes in service users’ needs to the team leader. They are also responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those supported by the service while building effective relationships with other employees.
As a cleaner, you will be responsible for performing deep cleaning tasks in homes, including kitchens, bathrooms, and rooms. You will also be required to clean communal areas to maintain a hygienic environment, keep gardens clean and tidy, clean windows for clear visibility, and perform carpet cleaning to remove dirt and stains.
